• Mayilsamy Annadurai appointed as Director of ISRO Satellite Center (ISAC), He was Program director of Indian Remote Sensing at ISAC.

• RBI kept the Repo rate (Rate at which the Central bank of a country lends money to commercial banks) unchanged at 7.5% in its monetary policy review.

• Dronavalli Harika won bronze medal in Women's chess championship

• MI's Xiaomi now available on Snapdeal and Amazon along with Flipkart.

• After R. Rajan's call ICICI, HDFC and SBI cut their base rate by 25, 15 and 15 bps , Now ICICI's 9.75% is the lowest in Industry.

• Snapdeal acquired Freecharge and became the largest mobile commerce firm with users of 40 millions

• Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) suspended it's scheme about 1000/- minimum monthly pension from April,2015

• SBI, again cut interest rate for another 10 bps. Now for new home loans it'll be 9.75(now equal to ICICI). For the existing loans its 9.85%.

• Baroda beat UP in "Mushtaq Ali T20" and won the title.

• Bank of India (BOI) loans of 200 Million dollar to Air India to finance the purchase of two B-787 dream-liner aircraft.
